Call For Manuscripts

The Journal of the National Association for Alternative Certification invites NAAC members and others to submit manuscripts on issues related to nontraditional or alternative routes to teacher certification. The research manuscripts should focus on quantitative and/or qualitative research that has significant implications and applicability for practitioners and/or policy makers. The feature article manuscripts should focus on issues related to policy, positions, and methodology. Manuscripts are double blind peer reviewed JNAAC has an open submissions policy and manuscripts are accepted at any time..

To Submit An Article

JNAAC utilizes the OJS (Open Journal Systems) data management system to house and index the journal and to manage the submission process. Read more about the OJS system at http:pkp.sfu.ca/?q=ojs. Manuscripts must be submitted at: www.jnaac.org/jnaac/. All users of the OJS system are required to register for free. Authors should register as both author and as a reader. The journal provides authors with the ability to upload their submission directly to the journal website. On completing the registration process, the author is taken directly to User Home, which lists the various roles the user has with the journal (e.g. Author, Reader, Reviewer, etc.). Clicking on the role of author will take users to their submissions page, where a list of current and past submissions are listed, and where a new submission can be initiated. The submission process for authors is broken down into five steps, with guidance provided at each step. Authors do no need to complete the five steps in one session. Points of view and opinions in JNAAC are those of the individual authors and not necessarily those of NAAC. Permission to reproduce any material in the journal must be requested in writing from the managing editor.
